Actor, singer and activist Tom Jackson is coming to perform a Christmas show at the Shell Theatre.
Jackson will be performing The Huron Carole Concert Series, a national concert tour he created when living in Toronto.
The concert is filled with signature Christmas songs, along with stories created by Jackson and his ensemble of musicians. It has been a season tradition for over three decades.
"We have a mission this year to deliver joy," said Jackson. "Joy is priceless, but it loses its value if you don't share it."
Jackson is known for his acting talents as well as his musical gift. He has appeared on North of 60, Strar Trek: The Next Generation and Law in Order. He is also a strong activist, raising over $200 million in donations for food banks, disaster relief and service agencies.
"The word love is an awesome word, but it's a better verb," explained Jackson.
He asked that people who are attending the Fort Saskatchewan show bring a donation for the food bank.
His performance on Friday (Dec.14) at 7:30 p.m. is already sold out.
