Coming to the Shell Theatre is the story of the original Christmas told in a very unique way.

The Best Little Newfoundland Christmas Pageant...Ever! is a hilarious story of a group of children who have never heard the story of Christmas trying to put on the Christmas pageant. Through dance, acting and song, the characters and the audience will go on a journey about the true meaning of Christmas through the eyes of these children.

"It's a night of laughter, it's a night of music and you're going to have fun with this. It's taken right back from Newfoundland, so there is Newfoundland humour there for sure," said Shell Theatre supervisor Josh Genning.

A short snippet of the show was shown during the season launch in June and was a huge hit with the audience.

The performance is at 7:30 p.m. on Friday (Dec.7). Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

The next show at the Shell Theatre is Tom Jackson presents Huron Carol on December 14.
