Youth in Bruderheim now have yet another option to fill their free time.
Lamont County Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is offering drop in nights and open gym nights for the community's younger populous.
"Initially it was different members of the community trying to get a gym night going," explained Lamont County FCSS youth coordinator, Jessie Johnson. "The youth centre has been in the works for a bit as well and got the ball rolling on this."
They offer Monday night open gym at Bruderheim School from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for families, 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. is for ages 16 and older only.
Youth Centre drop-in is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for all ages, while 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. is for junior and senior high students.
"Kids are enjoying themselves and definitely lots going on in Bruderheim for them to fill some of their free time."
Gym nights are open gym for shooting hoops, volleyball, whatever the heart desires while at the centre, there's video games, board games, movies, air hockey - something for everybody.
