STARS was called for help after a serious collision Friday afternoon (Apr.27).
Redwater RCMP say there was a collision between a semi-tractor and pickup truck on Highway 63 at Township Road 622 (just north of Newbrook).
The driver of the pickup truck, an unnamed woman, was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries. The male driver of the semi wasn't hurt.
The semi-truck was carrying diesel and emergency crews are still working to clean up the spill. 
An investigation continues and no further details are available at this time.
