Bruderheim issued a water restriction on Tuesday morning (Jan.16), due to an issue at the water distribution plant.

Members of the public were asked to refrain from non-essential water use until repairs were finished.

"The Town of Bruderheim Water Distribution Plant experienced instrumentation issues that were caused due to the distribution pump not operating normally," said Bruderheim's director of planning and legislative services, Sherry Cote.

The water restriction was lifted around 4 p.m. and all issues were resolved.

Bruderheim's truck fill station was closed during the event, but has reopened.
