A non-essential use water ban has been lifted in Strathcona County.
The ban was put in place as EPCOR repaired a major supply line.
“Thank you to residents and businesses for their cooperation to conserve water during the ban,” said Jeff Hutton, Strathcona County's director of utilities. “Safe water is our primary responsibility. While restrictions can be an inconvenience, they are critical to get the system back to normal and to avoid more serious implications.”
Water reservoir levels have returned to normal. Truck fills are now open.
The ban was first put in place on Thursday at 3:55 p.m.
