The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is seeing more visitors.
During the Ukrainian Day Festival on Sunday (August 13), thousands made their way to the museum to check out the region's finest history.
"Ukrainian Day is one of our most popular days of the year to celebrate Ukrainian culture and history in our province," said David Makowsky, director of the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village.
2017's Ukrainian Day brought in over 3,600 attendees, up from 3,130 the previous year.
"Many Albertans can relate to this because it's part of their culture. There are more than 345,000 Albertans of Ukrainian descent."
The village sees an average of 45,000 visitors every year.
More events are planned for the site, like Friends Ukrainian Music Fest on August 27 and Harvest of the Past & Harvest Food Festival on September 10.
