Two women suffered multiple injuries after a collision by Redwater. 
 
A SUV was heading eastbound on Highway 28 when it collided head on with a westbound car on Thursday afternoon (Aug.30).  
 
The woman driving the SUV had minor injuries. A woman driving the car suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. There were no other occupants in the vehicles. 
 
The intersection of Highway 28 and 38 was shut down for much of the afternoon, it has since reopened.
 
Redwater RCMP and a RCMP collision analyst continue to investigate.
