A local craft brewery was making waves at the one of the biggest rodeos in the world.

Fort Saskatchewan's own Two Sergeants Brewing Inc. was a huge hit at the Calgary Stampede's Big Four building.

They sent down their craft Chinook Oatmeal Stout in cans to join a group of Alberta's finest breweries.

"We got a lot of really positive reviews from people, even through our Facebook page," said Kevin Moore, head brewer.

Moore added that it was a gamble on their part sending down a heavy beer in the middle of summer, but it paid off.

The Fort brewers hope their success at the stampede will bring more awareness to their business.
