The Redwater RCMP have arrested two men.
On Mar.29, at around 6:50 a.m., police responded to break and enters at three separate oil lease sites near Opal. Several items including tubs of oil were reported stolen.
Mounties attended a rural property in the area and the pair were arrested.
Several items found were previously reported stolen from residential break and enters that occurred the week prior in the Redwater area, along with the oil. A truck that was reported stolen from Edmonton in March was also seized.
29-year-old David Timm and 30-year-old Geordie Wilson were charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Both men were remanded into custody and appeared in Fort Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Thursday (Apr.5).
