The City of Fort Saskatchewan has handed out another tourism grant.
The Fort Saskatchewan Elks Lodge Association has been awarded $5,000 for hosting the upcoming 2018 Alberta Elks Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference.
"It's awesome. It will be really beneficial to help us make a big bang when we host this event," said Meghan Pollard, conference secretary.
The AGM and conference, which will hold meetings, workshops and seminars will take place from June 6 - 9 in the Fort.
"We'll host all of the lodges within Alberta. We also include some lodges from B.C. and the Northwest Territories. It encompasses approximately 700 lodges across the three provinces," added Pollard.
