Construction is going to get in the way of the Fort Saskatchewan buses, quite literally.

As of June 1, bus stops 314, 315 and 316 will be closed.

“What’s happening is there is a bit of road rehabilitation taking place on Jubilee that’s going to go into effect on Low Avenue,” said the city’s transit supervisor Anthony Dionigi. “So, there’s a traffic disruption basically reducing traffic down to one lane and in some cases not allowing a good flow for our transit.”

The city decided to shutdown the bus stops until the work is done.

During this time riders are asked to wait for the bus at 98 Avenue. There will be three stops including one in front of Fort Saskatchewan Elementary.
