A single bullet went through a camper trailer in Thorhild County.

Redwater RCMP were called to a report that a bullet had gone through the side of a travel trailer that was parked in a rural location near Radway.

"The owner of the travel trailer was going to open his trailer and a bullet went into the side of his trailer," said RCMP Corporal Marcia McDermott.

Investigation has revealed the stray bullet was likely shot from the other side of the North Saskatchewan River.

There is nothing to suggest it was a targeted attack.

Police would like to remind the public that they are responsible for their bullets once they are fired.
