Police have recovered the vehicle involved in a recent armed carjacking.
 
At around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday (Mar.27), RCMP responded to a reported carjacking near Tim Hortons by 88th Avenue in Fort Saskatchewan.
 
A female victim offered two men a ride to a gas station after their vehicle allegedly broke down near Walmart.
 
The suspects then threatened her with a knife after pulling over near the Tim Hortons. She managed to escape with only minor injuries.
 
Police say the woman's Ford Escape was recovered on Wednesday. The Edmonton Police Service were able to assist in the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP’s investigation.
 
The RCMP did not provide further information on the suspect's whereabouts or how the vehicle was reclaimed.
