Southfort Drive residents should be getting a much needed break from road construction this summer.
The paving is done and crews are touching up the area with landscaping and line painting.
"It's the maintenace period. Watering frequently to make sure the grass esablishes and the trees keep growing," said the city's director of project management, Grant Schaffer.
Line painting is still ongoing. Crosswalks and some other lines still need to be finished.
"Nothing major planned in the area. Southfort Drive is basically complete at this point.
While there is limited road work, construction continues on the new Catholic school, St. Andre Bessett and touch-ups to Taurus Field
