Months spent widening a local road is coming to a close.
Paving should be done soon on Southfort Drive as Mother Nature rolls in to shut down construction season.
"It's progressing well, they're paving the last bit and where they milled out in the original Southfort Drive tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday and then paving will be complete," said Joey Farebrother, engineering coordinator with the City of Fort Saskatchewan.
After the road is complete, line painting will take place the following week, with operational street lights up before the end of the month.
Additional concrete work on 84 Street west of Galloway Wynd is also underway and will be completed before it gets too cold.
