Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for a portion of Sturgeon County.
A low pressure system is expected to form tonight, bringing plenty of snow (10 to 15 centimeters) to parts of the province. Local areas affected include Morinville, Legal, Rivière Qui Barre and Villeneuve.
It's expected the snow will taper off sometime tomorrow evening (October 11).
The anticipated rapid accumulation could make travel difficult as highways, roads and parking lots become difficult to navigate.
Additional communities may be added to the warning as the system moves in.
