The snow has delayed waste collection in Fort Saskatchewan.

Homes taking part in the Friday cart pilot collection areas will now have green organic bins picked up on Monday (Jan.29).

“Our priority is to ensure that all garbage and recycling is collected today in a safe and timely manner,” said waste programs supervisor, Sadie Miller. “Postponing the collection of organic materials ensures that collection crews can take their time navigating the alleys in the Friday collection zone and safely complete garbage and recycling collection.”
