Salisbury Composite High closed in light of bombing today.
Due to its close proximity to the Strathcona County Community Centre, which is being investigated after two explosions in the area on Tuesday, the school is cancelling classes for a second day. The school's bus transfer site will also be temporarily shut down.
Division superintendent Mark Liguori said in a release there’s no danger to students, they simply want to keep the area clear to allow the RCMP to continue their investigation.
Elk Island Catholic Schools announced on Twitter that both St. Theresa Catholic School and the Central Learning Services Building will remain closed on Thursday as well.
