Juno nominee Scott Helman will celebrate Canada’s birthday right here in Fort Saskatchewan.

Helman will hit the stage at Legacy Park for a free concert on July 1.

“We are thrilled to have Scott Helman join us for Canada Day,” said Fort Saskatchewan Canada Day committee chair, Birgit Blizzard. “He’s an excellent musician with a number of fantastic hits on the Canadian music scene.”

After releasing his first platinum-certified single Bungalow, he’s received four Juno nominations and toured throughout the U.S. and Europe with Walk off the Earth.

The night will kick off at 7 p.m. with Canadian country recording artist Kory Wlos. Singer-songwriter Christian Hudson will take the stage at 8 p.m., with Helman playing at 9 p.m.

Details on the parade route and other activities can be found on the Fort Saskatchewan Canada Day website.
