The Fort Lions Campground has seen a steady amount of visitors this camping season.
With storms and heat waves taking centre stage the past couple of months, the Lions Campground in Fort Saskatchewan continues to see constant use.
So far since May, they've had 317 campers enjoy the park, with visitors from all across Canada and even in the States.
"It definitely makes an impact on the local economy in the downtown area and all over town," said Don Westman, chair of the campground operating committee.
The campground is open until the end of October but some weekends are full or almost completely booked.
"As far as I know right now it's booked for the August long weekend," added Westman.
The money raised from the campground is donated back to city projects through the Fort Saskatchewan Lions Club.
