Police have arrested a local man after he stole a truck.
Around 5 p.m. on Mar.15, Strathcona County RCMP contacted the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRU) in regards to a stolen truck thought to be in the Sherwood Park area.
An investigation was launched and with the help of police dog services, the RCMP arrested Kari Roang, 35, as he was getting out of the stolen vehicle in the Village Place area.
Roang, of Sherwood Park has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of break-in tools.
Being a repeat offender, his parole has been revoked.
