Maintenance is ongoing at a local pool.
The Emerald Hills Leisure Centre in Sherwood Park will be closed until August 7 for scheduled warranty repairs.
According to the county, these repairs must be done within a one year period of being built. They will finished quicker by shutting down the building for six weeks.
"There's some lighting adjustments going on within the pool, tile repair work that needs to be done and some other basic pool work," said Terry Fuga, parks and recreation manager.
Some minor inspections of the facility and the annual pool cleaning will also take place during this time.
Fuga added warranty repairs are a normal part of opening a new facility.
Residents are encouraged to use the Kinsmen Leisure Centre or Millennium Place for swimming instead.
