Two men from Redwater are in some hot water.

28-year-old Karl Faucher and 29-year-old Alexandre Paquette are both facing charges relating to multiple thefts.

"Police received a number of tips from the community and that, coupled with investigation, ultimately led to the arrests and execution of a search warrant at a property in Redwater where extensive stolen property was recovered. Estimated at $50,000," said Redwater RCMP Sgt. Ed Bourque.

The two men are being charged with break, enter and theft, theft over $5000 and possession of stolen property over $5000. Faucher was charged separately with another count of possession of stolen property over $5000.

Faucher and Paquette are linked to a recent theft from Redwater Dodge.

The Redwater RCMP Detachment, Integrated Traffic Unit and Alberta Crime Reduction Unit worked together to catch the two men.
