Morinville RCMP are urging cashiers to be on the lookout after a local shop was hit twice by fraudsters.
Police are looking for a few suspects after they bought goods with an admin card.
The first incident happened on Wednesday (August 23) when two men used the card, the second took place two days later, on Friday (August 25). There was only one man involved in the second purchase.
Admin cards are used by store owners to override the system and manually enter a credit card number. The card's chip doesn't work and it needs to be swiped.
RCMP are warning cashiers to watch for people typing more than four digits into the keypad.
As Morinville RCMP officers continue to investigate, they're urging anyone with information to contact them at (780) 939-4520 or anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
