Strathcona County RCMP have seized dirt bikes, 5.4 grams of methamphetamine and more from a Sherwood Park home.
 
RCMP started investigating a stolen property complaint on December 19, where a search warrant was then executed at a home in the Glen Allan area.
 
Police seized several items during the search including a Kona Mountain Bike, 2010 Yamaha dirt bike, numerous surveying and radio detection tools, and 5.4 grams of methamphetamine.
 
The surveying and radio detection tools were stolen on December 5 out of Edmonton. The stolen items are valued at $200,000.
 
Steven Frederick, 31, of Sherwood Park is charged with:
- One count of possession of stolen property over $5,000
- Two counts of theft under $5,000
- Two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000
- One count of possession of a controlled substance
 
Frederick has been released on a promise to appear at his court date.
 
Kyryl Niemi, 27, of Beaumont was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Niemi remains in custody.
 
Both Frederick and Niemi will appear in Sherwood Park Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday (January 31).
 
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be pending.
