Police have found a man wanted on outstanding warrants.
In May of 2018, Clayton Huppie allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint and took off in her vehicle. He was arrested and released on a recognizance. However, he failed to show up to his scheduled court date on Mar.31.
On Friday (Apr.12), RCMP confirmed they were able to arrest the 35-year-old again thanks to a tip from the public.
The arrest was a result of joint efforts between Lac La Biche RCMP, EAD RCRU, EAD Intelligence, Cold Lake Police Dog Services and Strathcona County RCMP General Investigation Section.
Huppie is in custody awaiting his judicial interim release hearing.
