Belvedere Golf and Country Club has locked themselves in as the new food and beverage group of the Sherwood Park Curling Club.
The private golf course caught wind from a member that the contract was open for bid to take on the Sherwood Park Curling Club contract.
Belvedere applied for the contract and won.
Starting the third week of September they will step off the golf course and into the ice rink of Glen Allen Recreational Centre.
"It's exciting for us as were going to become more connected with Sherwood Park. It will give us the ability to keep staff all year round now. The wins of us being in the community year round are endless and we are lucky for this opportunity," explained Scott Hippe, general manager of the Belvedere Golf and County Club.
They will be supplying a good portion of the current private club's menu.
