Police are looking into a carjacking from the Lamont County area.
 
On Saturday (August 26) at around 7:30 p.m., the Two Hills RCMP responded to a theft from a house in Andrew.
 
A man allegedly pulled into the driveway with a car and requested help. The suspect then asked for the victim's vehicle and claimed to have a gun. The victim handed over keys to their van and the suspect fled eastbound on Highway 29.
 
The stolen vehicle is a black Dodge Caravan with Alberta license plate BBB 3862. The car the man was initially driving was reported stolen from Edmonton.
 
Police say the male is Aboriginal, 20-30-years-old, 6’0” to 6’3” tall, with short dark hair, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.
 
Do not to approach the vehicle or suspect if he's located, instead contact your local police or Crime Stoppers.
