The Strathcona County RCMP are investigating after an attempted abduction.
On Monday (October 16) at around 3:45 p.m., a girl coming home from school in Sherwood Park was approached by a man driving a truck.
The 12-year-old was walking on Evergreen Street when the driver pulled up and asked her to get in. Wisely, the girl ran home.
The man is described as Caucasian, mid 30s, wearing a red and white hat.
His truck is a white, older model pickup with a bright blue swirl emblem along the side and a grey strip along the bottom.
