We've had one big dump of snow and we'll probably get another early next week.
Saturday (Jan.27) might hold a few snowflakes, there's no snow in the forecast for Sunday, but watch out for Monday. Another system is coming towards central Alberta and we could see at least another 10 cm on Monday night and moving into Tuesday.
"Here we've gone through much of January without any precipitation, and what we're going to do is give you two (snowstorms) in 72 hours," said Environment Canada meteorologist, Brian Proctor.
Temperatures will also dip in the evening close to -20 C, about -25 C with the wind chill.
As of Friday afternoon, Fort Saskatchewan had collected 25 cm of snow, 21 cm fell in Sherwood Park, 20 cm in Edmonton and Camrose, 18 cm in Ardrossan and 17 cm in Mundare.
