New traffic lights are coming to Westpark Boulevard.
With the ground being broken for Freson Bros, it was only a matter of time for the busy intersection.
"When the development first got started in Westpark, once they got to a certain stage lights were then triggered to be installed at that intersection," said Joey Farebrother engineering coordinator with the City of Fort Saskatchewan.
The lights will flash for seven days before they become functional.
Fort Saskatchewan's new traffic lights should be working later this month.
