Plenty of residents got off easy this winter.
In January alone, the City of Fort Saskatchewan issued 498 warning tickets prior to snow removal cleaning, only 13 people were fined.
"It's important for us to keep the streets clean for our residents so they can operate vehicles safely and as pedestrians walk across the street safely," said municipal enforcement supervisor Matt Lowther.
The city gives drivers 72 hours of notice to move their vehicles.
Only 12 of the nearly 500 warned had to be towed.
Street sweeping is now underway in the Fort.
