Fort Saskatchewan displayed its diversity for dozens of attendees at the fourth annual Multiculturalism Day.
The Fort Saskatchewan Public Library partnered with the Fort Saskatchewan Multicultural Association to put on the event, which featured performances from several groups and activities for the whole family.
Chinese dancers, Polynesian dancers, drummers, fiddlers, singers and more performed in spite of the rain on Saturday (June 23).
"I think it's really important to highlight the diversity we have in Fort Saskatchewan and to celebrate that. Sometimes its not always something we always talk about," said Emily Paulsen with the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library. "We're really proud of sharing that with everyone else."
The event received $1000 in funding from the federal government.
