Fort Saskatchewan has outdone themselves once again for Movember.

The annual fundraiser and men's health awareness campaign, organized by local Jiffy Lube owner Jim Martin, raised $19,666.

"I'm blown away," said Martin. "I'm always amazed by how people just jump in and help us out with this project."

To raise money, a charity hockey game was put on, along with multiple pub nights and silent auctions across the area.

"Just in the Fort Saskatchewan area alone we had over 30 business participate by donating items," added Martin. "Everyone just made this a roaring success. Well beyond my expectations for sure."

The 2018 total is now the current record. Last Movember, Martin and his crew raised $14,700.
