Two people have been arrested for a number of offences.
 
Wednesday (Oct 18) evening, Morinville RCMP received numerous complaints of a possible impaired driver around Highway 44 and Highway 642 in Sturgeon County.
 
Police found the vehicle on a rural property and arrested the driver for impaired operation of a motor vehicle, failure or refusal to provide a breath sample and driving while disqualified.
 
The passenger of the vehicle was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.
 
Morinville RCMP are thanking the public for their vigilance and encourage anyone who suspects a driver who could be impaired to phone 9-1-1 immediately.
 
No word on a court date for the pair.
