A former business man is looking for another chance on council.
John Mather has decided to get in on the council fun by putting his name on the ballot for the upcoming Fort Saskatchewan municipal election.
A longtime resident since 1981, Mather bring previous experience. He sat on Fort council from 2010 to 2013.
"I think I have a very well background and I have absolutely no bone to pick with anybody going in," said Mather.
Business experience is also on his resumé as he had his own start-up landscaping company in the Fort.
"A lot of people have approached me over the passed seven months and said 'John, we want you to run again.'"
This will be Mathers' fifth time running for council.
