The region received a spring snowfall to start the work week.
 
Some of the snowflakes were toonie-sized in Fort Saskatchewan on Monday (Apr.15). As of 9:30 a.m., the snow turned to rain in the city.
 
MIX 107 listeners have confirmed heavy, wet snow and low visibility in the Redwater area. Titan Towing said in a Facebook post they're starting to pull drivers out of the ditch.
 
The precipitation may continue tonight and into Tuesday morning.
