A man is facing drug charges after police seized nearly six kilograms of heroin on Tuesday (Oct.30).
 
Alberta RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit, with help from the Strathcona County RCMP and other detachments executed a drug search warrant that resulted in the seizure of 5.59 kilograms of heroin, documents and electronic devices from an Edmonton home.

Police have charged 24-year-old Owen Singleton with heroin importation and heroin possession for the purpose of trafficking.
 
He is set to appear in Provincial Court in Edmonton Thursday (Nov.1).
