Premier Rachel Notley made some changes to her cabinet.

Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville MLA Jessica Littlewood will now be Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade for Small Business

"I've been tasked with working with chambers of commerces, with small business to figure out more ways of how we can support businesses through our economic recovery," explained Littlewood.

Notley is aiming to take advantage of Littlewood's experience with an accounting firm and in the not-for-profit sector.

"In our constituency, we have great examples of businesses like Two Sergeants in Fort Saskatchewan that have been an active part of what economic diversification looks like."

Littlewood also serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices and chaired the now-dissolved Select Special Ethics and Accountability Committee.

Elsewhere in the shuffle, Annie McKitrick, MLA for Sherwood Park, was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Education. Estefania Cortes-Vargas, MLA for Strathcona-Sherwood Park, was recently sworn in as a member of the Legislative Review Committee.
