Motorists traveling on Highway 15 should have some fresh new pavement ready this fall.
Workers continue on repaving a four kilometre stretch of Highway 15 north of the Anthony Henday towards Fort Saskatchewan.
"The project is still on target for completion this fall (early October)," said Anna Neale, public affairs officer with Alberta Transportation.
The Highway 15 bridge rehab project is also ongoing, as most of the work is on the concrete piers, guardrails and drainage system.
A majority of the work is underneath the bridge and hasn’t resulted in significant delays.
"This project is about half way finished and still on target for completion in spring of 2018," added Neale.
Drivers are still being advised to watch for lane closures, speed reductions, flag persons and possible detours.
There are no nighttime lane restrictions at this time, current traffic info is available at 511.alberta.ca.
