Intersection work outside of the Fort is moving along smoothly.
Major renovations to the Highway 15, 37 and 825 intersection are on time and budget.
"There was a lot of work that had to be done in particular because we're widening to accommodate the new turning lanes. So they did have to move a lot of earth around to make way for that part of the project," said Wayne Wood, spokesperson for Alberta Transportation.

The new $15 million project will feature free-flow lanes from Highway 15 to Highway 825 and traffic lights at the intersection of Highway 825 and 37 (with a dedicated lane for motorists travelling from Highway 825 to Edmonton).
The lights at the Highway 37 and 15 intersection won't change.

"We're hoping and weather permitting, we're expecting that the work should be complete by the end of October," added Wood.
