If you’ve lost a bicycle in the last eight months, chances are the City of Fort Saskatchewan has it.

Municipal Enforcement supervisor, Matt Lowther would like to spread the word on where people can find their lost or stolen bikes.

“Many of our residents aren’t aware that bicycles and other found property are regularly turned into municipal enforcement and the RCMP over at the protective services building,” said Lowther.

Over the past eight months, municipal enforcement has collected roughly 40 bicycles, some are like new while others are well used.

Lowther recommended providing a description of the make, model and serial number, or a photograph.

“Hopefully we can re-unite some of our bicycles and other found property with their owners,” he added.

If you have a lost or stolen bike, contact municipal enforcement or the RCMP and have a method of identifying your property.
