There's an open sign once again at Gloria's Soup Spot in the Fort.
The popular restaurant re-opened on Wednesday (Mar.7) in honour of its former owner Gloria Sander.
"I just want to keep the restaurant running in Gloria's honour. I've been working here since day one, but of course Gloria was the one who was the front of the house, the face of the business and I know that we'll never be able to replace, but we want to do our best to keep the same kind of atmosphere and do it as much as possible the way Gloria would have," said her husband Dale Sander.
It's the same menu and same hours, but they will now be open Monday to Friday.
"We're so grateful for all the love and support we received from the community after Gloria passed away," added Dale.
The business opened in 2012.
