The Town of Gibbons celebrated the dedication and service to their town on Wednesday (December 13).
 
From council members and former mayors to Chief Administrative Officer's (CAO) and assistants, Gibbons recognized 10 people for a combined 106 years of service.
 
Assistant CAO Debbie Turner was recognized for 35 years with the town.
 
"This has been my community for a very long time and I love being involved," said Turner. "Having started from the ground up and living in this community, I know a lot of the people that I run into everyday and honestly that's one of the best parts of my job."
 
Others recognized include former council members Edward Parsons (19 years), Doug Horner (13 years), Louise Bauder (4 years), Jonathan Derouin (4 years), Norman Sandahl (3 years) and James Rollison (3 years).
 
Long term staff members were also acknowledged including Jim Allen (10 years), Eric Lowe (10 years) and Farrell O'Malley (5 years).
