Fort Saskatchewan gasoline was at driver-friendly prices, but not so much anymore.

Today (September 26), most prices jumped to around 101.9 cents/litre in the capital region.

"The hike isn't as much as I thought, (gas stations) are looking for 10 cent retail margins rather than 12," said Dan McTeague, senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy. "The week ahead appears to present a quieter outlook than we saw a few weeks ago."

Around this time last year, the Fort Saskatchewan area was sitting near 87.83 cents/litre.

If you see prices still in the 80-90 cents/litre range, fill up.
