Recently, police took two dangerous drivers off the road.
On Thursday (Jul.19), the St. Albert RCMP stopped and arrested two impaired drivers, including a 27-year-old woman from Fort Saskatchewan.
A concerned person called the police reporting the woman's driving behaviors around 8 p.m., she was later found and arrested. Around 11:45 p.m. that same evening, Mounties arrested a 44-year-old man from St Albert for the same cause.
Impaired driving remains one of the top causes of criminal death in Alberta. Both of these cases are now before the courts.
If you see an impaired or dangerous driver, police recommend pulling over to call 911 or have a passenger in your vehicle make the call.
The name of the Fort Saskatchewan woman wasn't released.
