Fort Sask Minor Soccer will have a new face representing the club.

They've announced that they will have an official mascot running around Fort Saskatchewan to help promote the game.

"He'll be at our Timbit Jamboree, Movie Under the Stars, our Canada Day float and if McDonald's has any opportunity to use him, they will," said Kelly Yanch, vice president of Fort Sask Soccer.

The new mascot has been sponsored by the Fort Saskatchewan McDonald's, but still needs a name.

Anyone with suggestions can enter the contest until August 31 at the McDonald's or the Fort Saskatchewan Minor Sports Association office.
