Fort Saskatchewan is trying to make navigating data easier for investors.

In December, the city is going to launch investfortsask.ca, a sister website to their current city site.

One of the key purposes of the website is to organize data for current or potential investors. It will have information regarding large scale industries in the area, information for site-consultants as well as assistance for local businesses in regards to preparing their brand or adding to their marketing plans.

Another key point of the website will be to increase communication between local businesses and the City of Fort Saskatchewan.

"We want to hear from businesses, we want to be able to help them with the challenges they are facing but we can't do that if we don't hear from local businesses," said economic development officer Mike Erickson.

The website will be used as a way for businesses to reach out and contact the city with any concerns they might have.

The website was announced at a Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Wednesday (Dec.5).
