Spring is coming to the Fort, and more tourists may be coming too.

Fort Saskatchewan was recently featured in Expedia's 'Best Places to Experience Spring in Canada'.

The article cites the appearance of baby bison at Elk Island National Park and the return of the sheep to Peter T. Ream Historic Park as major seasonal attractions in the area.

"The town itself has so much to offer in terms of art, culture, and events," said the article's writer, Carolyn Albee.

Also featured on the list were Nokomis, Saskatchewan and Richmond, BC.

Fort Saskatchewan is the only Alberta destination on the list.
